While managing a project it is necessary to apply possessed knowledge, skills tools and techniques in order to fulfil the project's needs and requirements. Thanks to the numerous processes it is possible to accomplish a project management. Together with the possessed knowledge, skills, techniques and tools it is almost certain that you will receive both inputs and outputs. The project team should perform many different actions in order to guarantee success to the project.
They should choose the most appropriate process with the project management process groups(process groups) which will meet the project previously settled objectives. What is more they should also use specified approach in order to adjust the product's parameters and future plans to fulfil both project and product's requirements. Moreover they should meet the requirements of the stakeholders. Their expectations and needs. The demands of scope, time as well as costs, quality, resources and risk should be wisely balanced for the product to be produced.
All of these information is needed in order to start the plan , execute it as well as control it and also close. Information included in the standard documentation identifies management processes which were chosen as a good practice in majority of projects. It is widely known that these processes are applied all over the world and across most of industry groups. Practice is concerned to be good if there is a general agreement to the fact that application of project management processes has proved that they at a large extent influence and boost success in the wide range of projects.
What has to be always remembered though is the fact that all the knowledge, skill and processes which are mentioned above cannot be introduced and used in every single project. The project management process which are the most frequently used are related with one another thanks to their performance for one unanimous goal. The aim is to originate, plan, perform, monitor, control and close the project. The processes affect one another in many sophisticated ways. There is also another type of process namely product oriented process. Here the project's product is clearly specified and created. Project life cycle in majority of cases defines product oriented processes. They are also different as far as application area is concerned. During the whole project both processes: product ? oriented processes and project management processes co - occur and interact. Project management is an integrative venture.
